HerzHolz Forestry is seeking motivated individuals with tree identification skills and the ability to work in outdoor environments. A college degree in Forestry is preferred, but not required. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and be able to navigate rough terrain.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $65,000 per year, based on industry standards and the cost of living in the area.

Responsibilities
  • Cruise forests to assess timber quality and quantity
  • Participate in Rx burning and other forest management activities
  • Assist with timber sale administration
Requirements
  • College degree in Forestry or related field (preferred)
  • Strong tree identification skills
  • Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
