Quality Assurance Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute shelf life studies to ensure product quality and safety
  • Assist in the preparation and moderation of shelf life panels, as well as the creation of new protocols to meet client needs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of panel results and study reports
  • Manage inventory of shelf life products and communicate availability of freezer storage space
  • Record data from shelf life panels and perform data analysis as specified by the study
  • Assemble and prepare products for shipping to off-site storage facilities
  • Utilize Nestle systems, such as GLOBE and NesTMS, to manage inventory and track product movement
  • Ensure confidentiality of proprietary information and procedures
  • Read and follow product instructions accurately and proficiently

Requirements:

  • A.S. or B.S. degree in science, culinary, baking, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years working in food manufacturing
  • Strong understanding of mathematics and data analysis
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
