Job Summary

Stratus Services is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and repair operations of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the upkeep and maintenance of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural components.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance needs.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the life of equipment.
• Manage and oversee repair and renovation projects, coordinating with external contractors and vendors as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance management, with a focus on facilities maintenance.
• Relevant certifications in facilities management or maintenance (e.g., CFM, CPMM) are a plus.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues effectively.
• Strong organizational and communication skills (written and verbal).

Work Environment

The Facilities Maintenance Manager will work in a fast-paced environment, split between the shop floor and the office. The majority of time will be spent on the shop floor, working in both indoor and outdoor environments. May require lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces. On-call availability for emergency situations.
