Compensation and Benefits

We offer an attractive salary range of $38.00 - $46.15 per hour, with opportunities for advancement and professional growth. Our benefits package includes:

Full-time employees are eligible for all these benefits, while part-time employees receive most of them except medical insurance. On-call employees are eligible for 401K only.

Job Responsibilities

As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Avalon Care Center at Northpointe, you will work under the supervision of a registered nurse or other healthcare provider to develop, implement, and modify comprehensive plans of care for facility residents. You will practice within the legal boundaries of practical nursing authorized by the state for the delivery of patient care and related services.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Hold a current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state
  • Demonstrate understanding of state and federal rules and regulations governing practices within the facility
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of infection control principles and practices
  • Pass a criminal background investigation, reference inquiry, and vaccine mandate attestation requirements
  • Have recent clinical experience, education, or specialty skills specific to geriatrics
