Job SummaryThe Department of Nursing at Avera McKennan endorses Standards of Care that require all nurses to practice at a competent level of nursing care and demonstrate a competent and professional level of behavior in their role as an LPN. As an LPN at Avera Health, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and policies.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to confidentiality and data security protocols.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, sharing best practices and contributing to continuous learning.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of South Dakota or meeting multi-state licensure requirements.
- Graduation from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program preferred; graduation from an approved nursing program is acceptable.
- Varied shifts available, including 48 hours every two weeks.
- Hourly rate: $22.75 - $31.50 per hour, dependent on experience.
