Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Dartmouth College. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our dining facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather and sort dirty dishes, utensils, and equipment for washing and sanitizing.
  • Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, ensuring they are clean and functioning properly.
  • Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and equipment by hand or using the dishwashing machine.
  • Distribute clean dishes, utensils, and equipment to the appropriate areas.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized, including sweeping and mopping floors.
  • Remove trash and recyclables from the dining facilities and dispose of them properly.

Requirements
  • No prior experience is required, but a willingness to learn and follow instructions is essential.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 30 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in food service or dishwashing is preferred.
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Basic understanding of cleanliness procedures and general sanitation regulations.

What We Offer
  • A flexible part-time schedule with opportunities to work up to 30 hours per week.
  • A competitive hourly rate of $18.00 - $19.25 per hour.
