Job Title: Cake Decorator/Pastry Assistant

Importico's Bakery LLC is seeking a skilled Cake Decorator/Pastry Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality desserts and pastries for our retail stores.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and bake fresh desserts for the cold case, including cakes, pastries, and other sweet treats.
  • Plan and prepare for the week's workload, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
  • Develop and implement new dessert ideas, showcasing creativity and innovation.
  • Carefully decorate and design cakes for special occasions and events.
  • Prepare fillings and glazes for savory croissants and Danish.
  • Prepare fresh pastries, including cakes, napoleons, eclairs, and other sweet treats.
  • Prepare and bake muffins, scones, and other items.
  • Box up orders for wholesale customers.
  • Clean kitchen equipment and tools after use.
Requirements:
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
  • Passion for quality food and hospitality.
  • Team player with a friendly disposition towards a positive workplace.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
  • Ability to work standing for 8 hours.
