About the Role

At Ochsner Health System, we are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care to critically ill patients
  • Conduct thorough assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions to optimize patient outcomes
  • Utilize evidence-based practice to guide clinical decision-making and stay current with best practices in critical care
  • Provide education to patients, families, and healthcare professionals on various topics related to critical care
Requirements
  • Master's degree in nursing or physician assistant studies
  • Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or certification as a Physician Assistant
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in critical care, with a strong background in patient assessment and management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
