About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team as a CT Technologist. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) equipment.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of radiology and medical imaging principles, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with radiologists, patients, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses.

Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans on patients according to established protocols and guidelines
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, test results, and imaging data
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and optimal patient outcomes
  • Provide excellent patient care and communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in medical imaging and radiology
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree from an accredited program in radiologic technology or a related field
  • Less than 1 year of experience in medical imaging or a related field
  • Certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or a related specialty
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire or transfer
What We Offer

Baylor Scott & White Health offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes:
