Job Overview

About the Role:
  • Provide comprehensive speech therapy services to students with communication disorders, including direct and indirect interventions.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Conduct thorough assessments and design tailored treatment plans to address student needs.
  • Offer expert guidance and resources to teachers and parents on strategies for supporting speech development.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Student Support: Provide high-quality speech therapy services to students with diverse communication needs.
  2. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure seamless IEP implementation and effective student support.
  3. Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that cater to each student's unique needs.
  4. Professional Development: Stay updated on best practices in speech-language pathology and share expertise with colleagues.
Requirements:
  • A Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • An active SLP license or in the process of obtaining one.
  • Preferred: CCC-SLP certification or CFY eligibility.
  • Prior experience in schools is beneficial but not mandatory.
