Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Bilingual Treatment Aide, Foster Care Specialist to join our team at Disability Solutions. As a key member of our foster care program, you will provide essential support services to youth in foster care, promoting their well-being and independence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Case Managers in providing individualized support services to youth, including life skills education, case management, and advocacy.
  • Collaborate with foster parents to deliver life skills education and training to youth, focusing on independent living skills, job readiness, and consumer skills.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of youth progress, interactions, and outcomes.
  • Participate in regular supervision meetings with the Lead Bilingual Case Manager to discuss policy, program operations, and case load complexities.
Requirements:
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience working with adolescent youth (preferred).
  • 21 years of age or older.
  • Pass a satisfactory criminal history check and tuberculosis (TB) test.
  • Complete required health certification courses within 30 days of employment.
  • Valid Washington State driver's license or ability to obtain one by date of employment.
