We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Patient Care Specialist at one of our outpatient dialysis centers in Sumter, South Carolina. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families, while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

As a Patient Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients, collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans, and maintaining accurate records of patient progress and outcomes. Your expertise in nursing practices and protocols will enable you to effectively manage patient care, troubleshoot issues, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

Job Summary

The Patient Care Specialist will work under the supervision of our Clinical Managers and in collaboration with other members of the healthcare team to deliver patient-centered care. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a passion for delivering high-quality care, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

About the Role
  • Salary Range:$62,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience
  • Location:Sumter, SC 29150-4155, USA
  • Work Schedule:Flexible schedule with rotating shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (A.D.N.) from an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) or three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree
  • 1+ years of experience in dialysis, intensive care unit (ICU), critical care unit (CCU), emergency room (ER), or medical surgical (Med Surg)
  • Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certification preferred
