Nurse Specialist for Neonatal Care

At Texas Children's Hospital, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Pavilion for Women NICU Level 3 team.

We are looking for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality care to critically ill neonates and infants. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a multidisciplinary group of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients and their families.

About the Role
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill neonates and infants, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating age-appropriate care.
  • Collect and analyze data from medical records to coordinate patient care and make informed decisions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized plans of care.

You will also have the opportunity to participate in interdisciplinary rounds and conferences, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and engage in educational activities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or current enrollment in a BSN program with acceptance or completion.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas or Nurse Licensure Compact.
  • 1 year of professional nursing experience, preferably in NICU or ICU.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills.
