Role Summary

CVS Health is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Retail Store Associate to join our team. As a key member of our retail team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the overall success of our stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating empathy, and actively resolving potential service issues.
  • Focus on customer satisfaction by offering a warm and friendly greeting, maintaining eye contact, and assisting with locating additional items when needed.
  • Accurately process cash, check, and credit card transactions while adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a well-organized sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and completing inventory management tasks as directed by the store manager.
  • Support opening and closing store activities as needed.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy personnel to ensure seamless customer support and assist with regular shifts in the pharmacy as part of opportunities for growth and career development.
  • Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support our purpose of helping people on their path to better health.
Requirements
  • At least 16 years of age.
  • Ability to remain upright on the feet for sustained periods, lift up to 35 lbs occasionally, and perform visual inspections involving small parts/details.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.
Education

High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
