About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Benefits and Retirement Plan Specialist to join our fast-growing team in the greater Houston Area.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing retirement plans, preferably in the energy industry. A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required, with a master's degree or relevant professional certification being a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive benefits and retirement plans in accordance with company objectives and legal requirements.
  • Conduct regular reviews of existing plans to ensure they are competitive, cost-effective, and compliant with all relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including HR, Finance, and Legal, to align benefits and retirement plans with overall company strategy.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to senior management on all matters related to benefits and retirement plans.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in our current plans and propose innovative solutions to enhance their effectiveness.
  • Manage relationships with benefits and retirement plan vendors, brokers, and consultants to ensure the best possible service for our employees.
  • Create and deliver engaging and informative communication materials to educate employees about their benefits and retirement plans.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing retirement plans, preferably in the energy industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of retirement plan regulations, industry trends, and best practices.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Proficiency in using HRIS and benefits administration systems.
