Job Description

Overview: Integration Innovation, Inc. is seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer to support a complex engineering effort. The successful candidate will provide technical and engineering support, collaborating with a diverse team of professionals to achieve project goals and timelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize 3D computer-aided design (CAD) tools to create component and system designs, supporting model development and associated fabrication drawings.
  • Develop manufacturing models and drawings meeting ASME Standard formats to support technology data packages.
  • Interact with design engineers and vendors to address design optimization.
  • Travel approximately 10% to support the team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; additional experience may substitute for degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Prior experience participating in the design of complex manufacturing tasks and in manufacturing processes preferred.
  • Prior experience utilizing three-dimensional computer-aided design tools to create component and systems designs supporting model development and associated fabrication drawings preferred.
  • Prior experience and intimate familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) practices and Drawing Standards for Level II and Level III Technical Data Packages (TDPs).
  • Knowledge and/or experience in the use of CAD software, including Creo, Solid Works, and/or Inventor.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
