About the Role

The PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will provide therapeutic interventions under the direction of a Physical Therapist in an interdisciplinary environment. This role requires a current, valid state PTA licensure or certification and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

  • Implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities.
  • Observe patient responses to therapy, document their progress, and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Provide instructions to patients and their families on exercise techniques, safety precautions, and strategies for continued progress at home.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Other duties as assigned.
