About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Electronic and Electrical Systems Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for planning methods, operations, and sequences of assigned work, drawing correct conclusions from limited technical data or instruction, and making engineer-approved changes.

You will work from sketches, drawings, wiring diagrams, manufacturer's specifications, or other written and technical data to develop and implement new electronic and electrical systems. Your role will involve determining routing, location, and method of installing wire, signal control, coax, and fiber optic cables, as well as laying out, fabricating, constructing, installing, and assembling chassis, panels, and equipment enclosures.

In addition to these responsibilities, you may be required to maintain security systems, operate, test, troubleshoot, isolate problems, and repair failed components, electronic systems, and equipment. You will also be expected to evaluate and modify entire prototype electronic and electrical systems for integration into our existing systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Complete knowledge of electronic theory, operating principles, and competent skills and experience with digital systems and their communication protocol.
  • Understanding of digital-to-analog signal conversion. Proficiency on fiber optic termination and data processing equipment.
