Hotel Housekeeping Professional

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeping Professional to join our team at Lexima. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel suites and public areas.

The successful candidate will possess excellent cleaning skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. You will be required to maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include compliance with dress code and uniform requirements.

You will work closely with other departments within the hotel to provide exceptional customer service and ensure that all guests have a pleasant stay. • Clean and maintain hotel suites and public areas to the highest standard.
• Prepare housekeeping carts for use and restock supplies as needed.
• Remove trash and dirty linen from guest suites and replace with clean linens.
• Keep hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed.
• Report any missing items or damage to Executive Housekeeper.
• Operate light equipment such as vacuum cleaners and dishwashers.
• Ensure proper care of housekeeping equipment and facilities.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of hotel operations and laundry procedures required.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Long hours sometimes required.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently.
• Friendly, cooperative manner and patience in dealing with customers and staff.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally in English.

• Heavy work - Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Ability to reach overhead, utilize both hands, to bend over and to stoop and kneel.
• Ability to operate light equipment such as vacuum cleaners and dishwashers.
• Must be capable of climbing and descending stairs during their shift.
