Labor and Delivery Nurse Job

Aureus Medical Group - Nursing is seeking a dedicated Labor and Delivery nurse to join their team in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

About the Role

This 18-week contract offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing exceptional care to patients in need. As a Labor and Delivery nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with the healthcare team, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for mothers and newborns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, assessing, and prioritizing patient needs.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • New Mexico State License-RN.
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
  • Ability to lift up to 50-100 pounds.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated weekly payment breakdown is $2396.00-$2540.00/wk*, with an estimated taxable income of $828.00-$972.00/week*. The hourly rate is approximately $23.00/hr-$27.00/hr*, based on a 12-hour shift. Additionally, a non-taxable stipend of $1568.00* will be provided.
