Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Class A Truck Driver to join our team at B & D Lewis Trucking LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport goods and materials from one location to another, adhering to delivery schedules and ensuring the safe handling of hazardous materials.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Plan the most efficient routes of travel, taking into account traffic patterns, road conditions, and other factors that may impact delivery times.
  • Maintain detailed driving logs, including work periods, rest periods, and fuel expenses, to ensure compliance with company policies and driving laws.
  • Comply with all relevant truck driving laws and regulations, including those related to hazardous materials and tank vehicles.

Requirements
  • Valid commercial drivers license (CDL) Class A with tank and hazmat endorsements.
  • Previous experience as a Truck Driver, preferably with hazmat and tank experience.
  • Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
  • Understanding of all relevant truck driving laws and regulations.
  • Clean driving record and willingness to undergo regular background checks.
