Job Title: Senior Diversity Recruiting Manager

Perkins Coie LLP is seeking a highly skilled Senior Diversity Recruiting Manager to oversee diversity outreach, diversity initiatives, and diversity data related to law student and lateral associate recruiting and integration activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage diversity efforts related to law student and lateral associate recruiting.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase diversity in the firm's recruiting efforts.
  • Collaborate with the Strategic Diversity and Inclusion Committee (SDIC) Recruiting Subcommittee to advance diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Develop and track diversity metrics and reports to measure progress and outcomes.
  • Manage relationships with law student affinity organizations and local minority bar associations to advance diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase diversity in the firm's lateral associate recruiting efforts.
  • Collaborate with the recruiting team to develop and implement diversity and inclusion training programs.
  • Monitor industry trends and data regarding diversity activities and initiatives in the legal industry.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of eight years of manager-level experience in attorney recruiting, attorney professional development, or a relevant field.
  • Extensive familiarity and experience with DEI efforts within a large organization.
  • Experience overseeing law school fall recruiting, summer associate programs, lateral associate recruiting, and new attorney pre-arrival and integration activities.
  • Experience developing policies related to diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Experience recruiting for multiple and different legal markets is helpful.
  • Experience in law school career services is beneficial.
  • J.D. and legal practice experience is beneficial.
