Job Summary
">This is a key leadership role at Albany Medical Center where you will oversee the coordination, planning, and administrative management of our pulmonary renal care services. As an Assistant Nurse Manager, you will work collaboratively with our Administrative Nursing Supervisor, Nurse Manager, and Assistant Vice President of Specialty Nursing Division to achieve departmental/unit vision and philosophy.

- You will be responsible for mentoring professional caregivers in the delivery of patient care and facilitating patient access, communication, and transitions throughout the acute care stay.">
- You will provide leadership for direct patient care provided by specialty nursing unit staff on the assigned primary shift of work, ensuring that competent, compassionate patient care is uniformly provided to customers including referring facilities, hospital staff, and patients in the inpatient, ambulatory, and community settings.">
- You will support the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies, programs, and services consistent with the hospital's mission and departmental/unit vision and philosophy.">
- You will provide direction and support to unit-based staff and collaborate with other service and department leaders toward attainment of short- and long-term goals and objectives.">
Requirements
">We are looking for an experienced leader who can motivate and inspire our team members to deliver exceptional patient care. You should have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. A bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field is required, along with several years of experience in a similar role.
">Salary and Benefits
">The estimated salary range for this position is between $80,151 and $132,249 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
