Job Summary

The Flight Paramedic is a critical care transport specialist who extends the healing ministry of Jesus Christ by providing exceptional patient care in the air medical environment. This role requires a high degree of independence and involves interacting with a wide range of healthcare and public safety professionals in challenging situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate transport operations and clinical care with the Flight Nurse and Pilot crew members
  • Develop and implement subject matter management skills and independent work on projects to support Flight For Life operations
  • Interact with healthcare and public safety professionals in stressful situations
  • Provide exceptional patient care in the air medical environment
Requirements
  • Minimum of three years of experience working in a moderate to high-volume ALS setting
  • Current paramedic certification by the State of Texas
  • National Registry Paramedic certification strongly preferred
  • BLS and ACLS certification required
  • Certification in a transport-specific critical care board certification (C-NPT, FP-C or CCP-C) is strongly preferred
