Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Develop and implement weight management programs to promote healthy eating habits among residents.
• Assess and monitor residents' nutritional status to ensure their dietary needs are met.
• Provide recommendations for nutrition intake and instruct individuals on food selection to support their health and well-being.
• Collaborate with the dietary department to prepare and serve nutritious meals that meet the needs of our residents.

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian with the American Dietetic Association.
• Maintains current licensure as a Dietitian per state requirements.
• Bachelor's degree from an approved program in Dietetics or Nutrition.
• Experience in healthcare food service management and nutrition, including familiarity with a variety of foods and preparation techniques.
• Proficient in utilizing nursing and administrative dietetics.
• Ability to collect information and offer suggestions for a reasonable plan of care.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and work independently to complete assessments and care plans timely.
• Competent in organizational, time management skills, and demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel), with the ability to learn new applications.
