This position is contingent upon contract award. Amentum is seeking a skilled General Maintenance Mechanic to support an upcoming INSCOM G-4 Global Intelligence Logistics and Engineering (GILE) Support contract. The selected candidate will provide maintenance and repair services for tactical, operational, and strategic intelligence units, personnel, and their ground and aerial intelligence equipment and operations facilities and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize a variety of trade skills, including electrical, carpentry, painting, concrete, plumbing, welding, and drywall, to perform maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Interpret diagrams, specifications, manuals, and supply/cost estimates to ensure accurate work completion.
  • Employ troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Communicate system problems to coworkers and management to ensure proper understanding and resolution.
  • Exhibit good mechanical skills to handle equipment safely and prevent injuries to self and others.
  • Evaluate computer-related work orders to ensure accurate completion.
Requirements:
  • Must possess a U.S. government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI). Some positions may require a polygraph.
  • Vocational or High School Diploma or equivalent, and at least seven (7) years of experience as a General Maintenance Mechanic.
