Job Description:

We seek a highly skilled Global Commission Expert to join our Finance & Business Operations Organization as part of the Global Commissions Tooling & Strategy team. This role will play a critical part in providing technical and operational support to Cloudflare's commission technology stack. The ideal candidate should be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives.

  • Develop and implement leading practices in architecture and build techniques to optimize scalability, usability, flexibility, and analytical intelligence.
  • Collaborate with the ICM team and managed services resources to execute and implement builds, enhancements, and testing.
  • Support the implementation of robust change management processes and testing frameworks.
  • Employ a business-focused approach to technical work by understanding and communicating effectively with stakeholders and business partners.
  • Plan and execute testing strategies to comprehensively evaluate assigned enhancements to business applications.
  • Analyze application performance to identify areas for improvement and recommend process enhancements.
  • Assess risks associated with new functionality and enhancements.
  • Develop extensive documentation and enablement infrastructure to ensure consistent practices and procedures.
  • BUILD deep knowledge of upstream system enhancements that impact ICM practice (e.g., HCM, CRM, etc.).
  • Support the implementation of SOX controls in collaboration with the Controllership and Internal Audit Organizations.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 4+ years of experience in Product Management, Technical Project Management, Consulting, or Incentive Compensation Administration, preferably with a SaaS background.
  • A thorough understanding of commission administrative processes, including plan document distribution and tracking, transaction crediting, incentive calculations, payment file preparation, and issue resolution.
  • Experience with commissions-specific SOX controls and familiarity with Varicent, Anaplan ICM, Xactly, CaptivateIQ, or similar ICM tools.
  • Familiarity with SQL platforms and queries.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience working with large-scale datasets, coding proficiency in modern programming languages (Python, Perl, Java, etc.), and services like EC2 and S3.
  • Effective communication and project management skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data or business problems into actionable information.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer competitive compensation packages based on location and experience. For remote US & Canada positions, the estimated annual salary range is $140,000 - $171,000. This may vary depending on specific circumstances. In addition to salary, you'll have access to equity and benefits programs designed to support your well-being and career growth.
