About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate and competent nurse who can deliver high-quality patient care through a team-based approach. As a Registered Nurse at Capital Health, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans. You will also be expected to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver quality patient care through a collaborative approach with other healthcare professionals
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Implement and evaluate patient care plans to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate's degree or graduate from an accredited school of nursing
  • No prior experience required, but previous nursing experience is preferred
  • AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider certification
  • TNCC certification within 1 year of hire (if assigned to certain units)
  • NIH Stroke Scale Certification within orientation period (if assigned to certain units)
  • CPR Requirements: ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications within 6 months of hire date (if assigned to certain units)
  • Possess strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills
Physical Demands and Work Environment

This role requires frequent physical demands including pushing, pulling, twisting, bending, reaching forward, and squatting/kneeling/crawling. Occasional physical demands include sitting and climbing stairs. Continuous physical demands include standing, walking, carrying objects, talking, and hearing. Sensory requirements include accurate vision, color discrimination, and accurate depth perception.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 per year, based on national averages for a Registered Nurse in the United States. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.

Please note that all job offers are contingent upon successful completion of our onboarding process and pre-employment physical. We require all applicants to have an annual flu vaccine prior to start date, with exceptions for medical and religious exemptions.
