Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Head Cashier to join our team at Sprouts Farmers Market. As a key member of our front-end operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of cashiers and providing exceptional customer service to our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by Example: Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and provide guidance and support to cashiers and courtesy clerks.
  • Operational Excellence: Assist with operational issues, ensure accurate cash handling, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Team Management: Schedule and oversee meal and rest breaks, hire and train new cashiers, and address disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Security and Loss Prevention: Maintain visibility of exit doors and report any security or loss prevention issues to management.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience supplemented with leadership training.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to take direction, and participate in a team environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift and carry product weighing up to 30 lbs., and use both hands to move grocery carts.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers, cash handling, and mathematical skills.
