Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant to join our team at the National Youth Advocacy and Resilience Research Center. As a key member of our research staff, you will contribute to the development and implementation of innovative projects aimed at promoting youth well-being and resilience. Your role will involve assisting in data collection and analysis, transcribing interviews and focus group data, conducting literature searches, and writing up findings for publication.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing and implementing research studies, including collecting and analyzing data
  • Transcribe interviews and focus group data to facilitate qualitative analysis
  • Conduct comprehensive literature reviews to inform research design and methodology
  • Write clear and concise reports summarizing research findings and recommendations
  • Promote research outcomes through presentations and publications

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google applications
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Working Conditions

This position is non-exempt, paid on a biweekly basis, and requires flexible scheduling to accommodate research needs. The selected candidate must be able to perform duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation. This is not a supervisory position, and driving is not required.
