**Job Summary**

The Luxury Wealth Strategist at Finemark National Bank is responsible for managing and administering complex trust relationships, focusing on prudent fiduciary risk management, relationship growth, and exceptional client experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fiduciary Management: Administer trust accounts in accordance with governing instruments, federal and state laws, and FineMark's policies and procedures.
  • Account Monitoring: Regularly review and monitor account retention to ensure optimal performance.
  • Client Communication: Document client interactions and coordinate proactive communication through our contact management system.
  • Financial Planning: Participate in and oversee the financial planning process for clients.
  • Trust Account Review: Ensure timely completion of Trust Account Reviews.
  • New Account Setup: Verify timely and accurate setup of new accounts by account opening associates.
  • Discretionary Distributions: Process discretionary distributions in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Governing Documents: Review governing legal and entity documents, directing bank staff in new account titling for all trust, fiduciary, and complex entity-owned deposit accounts.
  • Trust Lending Reviews: Conduct Trust Lending Reviews for all loans made to trust and entity borrowers.
  • Legal Issues: Address and resolve any legal-related issues arising in offices.
  • Relationship Development: Support existing relationships and facilitate new business opportunities.
  • Knowledge and Compliance: Maintain current knowledge of regulatory, fiduciary law, tax law, and economic environments.
  • Attendance: Regular attendance at the designated FineMark location during business hours or assigned hours is required. This is not a remote-work position.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: 10+ years of successfully managing trust accounts for a wealth management company.
  • Juris Doctor: A Juris Doctor degree is mandatory.
  • Complex Trust Management: Proven experience in managing large and complex trust accounts, including investment decisions and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Knowledge: A deep understanding of complex financial instruments, investment strategies, and estate planning.
  • Regulatory Expertise: Extensive knowledge of trust laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Mentorship: Ability to mentor junior staff and oversee complex trust accounts.
  • Financial Analysis: Proficiency in analyzing complex financial statements, investment portfolios, and legal documents.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for interacting with high-net-worth clients, beneficiaries, and legal professionals.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure precision in financial reporting and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Critical Thinking: Advanced ability to address and resolve complex issues related to trust administration and beneficiary concerns.
  • Relationship Building: Building and maintaining strong relationships with high-net-worth clients and beneficiaries.
  • Integrity: Upholding the highest standards of integrity and confidentiality in managing trust assets.
  • Sophisticated Relationships: Handling complex and/or sophisticated relationships.
  • Professionalism: Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred.
  • Master's Degree: A Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field is highly recommended.
  • Advanced Certifications: Advanced certifications such as the Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) or Certified Financial Planner (CFP) are preferred.

Salary Estimate: The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on national averages and considering the level of experience required. Please note that actual salaries may vary depending on individual qualifications and market conditions.
