Medical Professional Wanted for Family Medicine Team in Manhattan

A Tandym Group clinic is seeking a skilled LPN to join their Family Medicine team in Manhattan, New York City.
About the JobThis is an ongoing assignment with a start date of ASAP. The schedule consists of Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm (Monday and Wednesday), 8am to 5pm (Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday), and 8am to 4pm (Saturday). There is no call required. The patient population is medically underserved, with an estimated volume of 20 to 24 patients per day. The Electronic Medical Records system used is eClinicalWorks (ECW).
Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans, including assessments, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Record patients' medical information and vital signs, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Monitor inventory levels of medications and immunizations, ordering as needed.
- Evaluate patient care across various aspects, including diet and physical activity, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Prepare patients for examinations and treatments, ensuring a comfortable and safe experience.
- Educate individuals, families, and groups on health conditions, disease prevention, medication use, and healthy lifestyle habits.
- Maintain stock levels of clinical supplies and ensure their proper storage and disposal.
- Administer medications, immunizations, and other forms of treatment, following established protocols.
- Enter patient data into medical records, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
- NYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification.
- ACLS and CPR certifications.
- Experience in outpatient primary care settings.
We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 to $85,000 annually, depending on experience, along with opportunities for growth and professional development within our organization.
