We are seeking a skilled Fiber Optic Network Specialist to join our team at CS Contract Solutions LLC in Whitehall, MI.

Job Description

The primary function of this position is to install and maintain fiber optic internet services, providing high-quality connectivity to residential and commercial customers.

This role requires the ability to work at heights, use various types of ladders, and work in confined spaces. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to multi-task, and possess a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Installation, maintenance, and repairing of fiber optic systems for residential and commercial customers.
  • Ensuring adequate performance of internet, phone, and television services.
  • Complete pre-install work order and post-install service verification and customer education to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Place aerial or buried fiber optic drops and install interior and exterior wiring.
  • Observe all safety rules and OSHA regulations.
Requirements:
  • Fiber optic internet and home phone service experience required.
  • Must satisfy company required tools and safety equipment checklist.
  • Must have own truck, van, or SUV with a ladder rack.
  • Must have own tools to perform the job.
  • Android Samsung Galaxy S23 smartphone or newer is required.
  • Laptop with Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Lift up to 80lbs unassisted.
Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer competitive benefits, including health, vision, and dental insurance, PTO, and 401k.
