Job Description

  • Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs to prevent accidents and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Create and maintain policies, procedures, and training materials to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
  • Investigate incidents and develop strategies to mitigate future risks.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and develop targeted programs.
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in safety management, preferably in the Charter Bus or Transportation industry.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
