Customer Service Representative

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our Store Operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building relationships, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to customers throughout the loan and pawn process.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive business growth and increase customer loyalty.
- Assist with customer account management, including accepting payments, monitoring, and managing customer appointments.
- Work to meet Company-set performance standards by leveraging business-to-business partnership opportunities, obtaining referrals, and participating in and hosting in-store and community events.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct vehicle appraisals accurately using the assessment tool.
- Enter and maintain customer information in the Point-of-Sale system with accuracy and integrity.
- Uphold compliance with Company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
- Maintain office security protocols and conduct proper opening and closing procedures, including management of vault, cash drawer, and bank deposits.
- Utilize personal vehicle to complete bank deposits and other Company business throughout the workday.
- Work efficiently in a rapidly changing environment and handle multiple challenging tasks with ease to meet individual and team performance standards.
- Utilize strong interpersonal skills to communicate and interact with customers and Team Members at all levels.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Customer service, sales, or retail experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work phone, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other systems.
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle to use throughout the workday (mileage compensated).
- Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama).
- Background check required (subject to applicable law).
- Physical demands for this position frequently include: the ability to remain in a stationary position, move about inside and outside of the store, the ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds and the operation of mechanical controls, such as a keyboard.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate degree or higher.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus and may be required for certain locations.
