Key Responsibilities:

• Perform tasks under time-sensitive deadlines to meet production requirements.
• Identify and correct imperfections in the gel-coat to ensure a high-quality finish.
• Sand and buff parts as needed to achieve a smooth surface.
• Repair fiberglass molds and tooling using specialty gelcoats, buffing with wax, polish, compound, fillers, putty, and/or paste.
• Operate hand tools, including gel-coat spray equipment, drills, buffers, die grinders, polishing compounds, orbital sanders, and other specialty tools.

Requirements:

• Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment where ambient air temperature can exceed outside air temperature.
• Must be able to wear proper safety equipment when necessary.
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required.
• Experienced working with fiberglass and hand and power tools.
• Able to squat, climb, bend, etc., as needed.
• Experienced using an orbital sander.
