About the Role

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in Plano, Texas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide surgical guidance for advanced surgical procedures, including deep brain stimulation, 3D imaging, and ortho trauma.
  • Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment, including portable diagnostic equipment, 3D systems, and hybrid IR/OR systems.
  • Perform intraoperative procedures, including angiographic procedures, thrombectomies, and ECMO.
  • Utilize AIDET principles to communicate effectively with patients and ensure correct exams are performed.
  • Prepare patients and areas for procedures, ensuring proper sterile technique and maintaining hand hygiene.
  • Protect patients and employees by adhering to safety requirements, infection-control policies, and radiation protocols.
  • Maintain equipment and work areas to meet quality and cleanliness standards.
  • Assist in maintaining supplies inventory and report issues to management.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of medical imaging records.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in radiology or a related field.
  • ARRT-R Radiography certification.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
