Responsibilities

As an inpatient psychiatrist, you will:

  • Provide inpatient psychiatric care to adult patients
  • Meet with assigned patients and attend treatment team meetings daily
  • Assess and manage psychiatric emergencies and treatment needs for patients
  • Supervise and collaborate with a mid-level provider (APP)
  • Ensure safe and effective medication management
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Board Certification: Psychiatry
  • At least 2-3 years of clinical experience in inpatient psychiatry
  • Licensure: Licensed in Idaho or IMLC
  • BLS certification required
