Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong commitment to providing top-notch patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Care:
- Assist physical therapists with patient evaluations, treatments, and rehabilitation plans.
- Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities under the supervision of licensed therapists.
- Maintain accurate records of patient progress and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
- Clinic/Office Duties:
- Ensure a clean and organized environment for patients and staff.
- Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment to maintain optimal clinic operations.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and processing paperwork.
- Performance Expectations:
- Demonstrate adaptability, flexibility, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- Meet productivity standards and consistently deliver high-quality work.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field (e.g., physical therapy, exercise science).
- Current certification as a physical therapy aide or assistant (if applicable).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work in a team environment and maintain confidentiality.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and practice management software (if applicable).
- A competitive salary of $42,000 - $55,000 per year, based on experience.
