Job Summary

Fenway Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Per Diem Nurse. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical and emotional evaluations.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans, including medication management and education.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience working in an ethnically, culturally, and racially diverse environment.
  • Authentic interest in LGBTQIA+ and community health.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree level or higher in nursing.
  • Two (2) years of experience in ambulatory, hospital, or public health nursing.
  • Board Certification (ACRN, AMB-BC, etc).
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
  • OSHA Category 1: involves exposure to blood, body fluids, and/or tissues.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Regularly required: sitting; using hands to manipulate objects/tools/controls; reaching with hands and arms; talking; hearing.
    • Frequently required: lifting and/or moving up to 10 lbs.
    • Occasional required: lifting and/or moving up to 25 lbs.
    • Vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision depth perception, ability to adjust focus.
