Job Title: Front Desk Agent/Relief Night Audit

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Desk Agent/Relief Night Audit to join our team at LUMA Hotel Times Square. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk, and performing night audit activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Welcome and register guests efficiently, providing accurate information and resolving any issues that may arise.
  2. Resolve guest complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  3. Answer guest questions accurately and provide solutions to their problems.
  4. Sell hotel rooms, food and beverage outlets, and seasonal promotions to guests.
  5. Communicate effectively with other hotel departments to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
  6. Promote local attractions and services to guests.
  7. Assist with reservations and notifications as needed.
  8. Notify management of any pertinent information related to shift activities.
  9. Balance all department accounts and reconcile front desk postings.
  10. Run End of Day reports for POS and PMS systems and close the day.
  11. Complete Night Audit reports and distribute accordingly.
  12. Adhere to policies regarding handling of employee cash and maintain security at all times.
  13. Be knowledgeable in all hotel emergency procedures and ensure areas are free of safety hazards.
  14. Ensure total guest satisfaction and follow supervisor's instructions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' customer service experience and night audit.
  • High School or better.
  • Fire Safety Director NY certification.
