About the Role

Spirit AeroSystems is seeking a skilled Aerostructures Assembly Lead to oversee the manufacture of completed units, ensuring timely and quality delivery to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the assembly of components into sub-assemblies, mating or joining of structural assemblies, and installation of systems.
  • Interface with engineering, management, suppliers, and customers to meet product requirements and customer acceptance.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including a leadership or management role.
  • Experience working with multiple cross-functional groups, including Quality, Assembly, Procurement, and Supply Chain.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience in developing and managing a statement of work on time and within budget.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP.
  • Experience in a union environment with collective bargaining agreements.
