Salesforce Commerce for B2B Technical Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Commerce for B2B Technical Lead to join our team at Slalom. As a key member of our Salesforce business, you will play a critical role in helping our clients bring impactful customer experiences to life.
As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for leading multiple projects and providing guidance and oversight to development teams to ensure that both the process is followed and the solution delivered is consistent with architecture development policies and standards.
You will work closely with the solution owner, technical architect, and client to understand business needs and objectives, using your knowledge of the commerce platforms. You will contribute to the rest of the team and help share knowledge of both platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Understand requirements, read tasks, follow estimates, and assist in developing code/configuration for projects assigned
- Provide guidance and oversight to development teams to ensure process is followed and solution delivered is consistent with architecture development policies and standards
- Contribute to the rest of the team and help share knowledge of both platforms
- Work closely with solution owner, technical architect, and client to understand business needs and objectives
- Participate in project scrum meetings and assist in running sprint planning meetings
- 3+ years of Salesforce Platform Development experience
- Experience in a hands-on technical leadership position
- Experience with Salesforce Development frameworks (LWC, Aura, Apex Controllers, Apex Triggers, etc.)
- Experience with clicks-not-code development (Screen Flows, Record Launched Flows, etc.)
- Experience with routine Salesforce administration (Object Model, Sharing Rules, Validation Rules, etc.)
- Experience working with code in a Source Control system (Git, SVN, etc.)
- Experience working with SFDX project structures including creating and managing scratch orgs, pulling code, and managing code conflicts
- Experience writing and troubleshooting apex test classes
- Experience connecting to external systems via APIs (REST, SOAP, etc.)
- Experience with CI/CD as well as managing Salesforce Deployments between environments in both the SFDX and traditional org model
- Experience with performing code reviews and working with developers to adhere to coding best practices as well as ensuring that all code written will be able to scale appropriately
- Must hold at least one of the following Salesforce Certifications (Platform App Builder, Platform Developer 1, JavaScript Developer 1)

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range for a Principal is $155,000 to $205,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors.
