About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our team at WSP. As a Health and Safety Advisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, clients, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and legislation.
  2. Conduct risk assessments and provide guidance on risk mitigation strategies to prevent accidents and incidents.
  3. Provide training and coaching to employees on health and safety best practices and procedures.
  4. Investigate incidents and accidents, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
  5. Collaborate with the HSEQ team to develop and implement health and safety initiatives and programs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as occupational safety and health, engineering, or environmental science.
  • At least 7 years of experience in health and safety, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation, regulations, and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
