We are seeking an accomplished Memory Care/Dementia Specialist to join our Recreation Team. This role will focus on creating and implementing therapeutic programs tailored to meet the emotional, physical, and cognitive needs of our residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage monthly and daily memory care calendars
  • Take attendance during activities and prepare MDS interview assessments, care plans, and progress notes
  • Develop and implement engaging daily programs for our residents

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy or Certified Recreation Therapy Specialist (CRTS) certification preferred
  • Minimum of two years experience working with geriatric long-term populations or in therapeutic recreation environments required
  • Certification in dementia and/or behavior management is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and EMR (Point, Click, Care)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary: Up to $28/hour
