Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery
  • Perform troubleshooting to diagnose mechanical and electrical problems
  • Overhaul and repair equipment components, including motors, conveyors, and hydraulic systems
  • Execute timely and efficient repairs, utilizing hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
  • Replace defective parts, ensuring the use of appropriate materials and following equipment specifications
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory
  • Provide detailed reports on equipment conditions, highlighting any recurring issues or trends

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Industrial Mechanic or similar role with a minimum of one (1) year experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
  • Must be able to follow directions
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
  • Proficiency in reading technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
  • Ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Understanding of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant technical certifications or vocational training in industrial mechanics
  • Must have a rolling cart toolbox of your own
  • Must have steel toe boots
  • Must have your own tools up to 3⁄4 inch socket/wrench set
