Job Summary: IDR Healthcare is seeking a skilled Patient Service Representative to provide exceptional patient care and administrative support in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage patient flow and registration processes with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Verify patient information and maintain accurate records in electronic medical record systems.
  • Operate multiple computer systems, including patient registration/accounting systems, telephone consoles, and document imaging.
  • Stay up-to-date with insurance and medical terminology, as well as regulatory requirements such as EMTALA and Consent Laws.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a front office setting, with a strong focus on customer service and administrative processes.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in operating electronic medical record systems and other healthcare software.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of inpatient/outpatient registration/scheduling environments and hospital operations.
