Dietitian Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at Athens Health and Rehabilitation Center in Athens, PA.

This is a Part-Time position that involves implementing, coordinating, and evaluating medical nutrition therapy for residents, providing resident and family education, and conducting nutritional assessments and consultations to assist in planning daily dietary services.

• Develop preliminary and comprehensive assessments of the dietary needs of each resident.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create a written dietary plan of care that identifies dietary problems and goals.
• Encourage resident and family participation in the development and review of care plans.
• Evaluate patient charts and make recommendations for appropriate medical nutrition therapy.

• Must be a licensed Registered Dietitian.
• At least two years of experience as a professional dietitian in long-term care with administrative responsibilities or one year of experience as a registered consulting dietitian to one or more long-term care facilities.
