We are seeking a skilled Plant Operator to join our team at Cornerstone Recruiting. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of our central plant and HVAC equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain mechanical plant equipment, including chillers, cooling towers, pumps, and air handling systems.
  • Utilize our computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to receive, track, and create work orders, and manage parts inventory.
  • Assist in performing scheduled maintenance and repairs, and install, maintain, and repair equipment and machinery.
  • Operate and maintain tools and equipment common to various skilled trades.
  • Assist in the coordination and supervision of work performed by outside contractors.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to safety and sustainability policies by adhering to environmental, safety, and health regulations.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • 8 years of experience in the HVAC profession.
  • Able to read technical and architectural plans.
  • Able to work effectively without supervision.
  • Proficient in personal computer and/or tablet operation, including Microsoft Office and CMMS application.
Licenses and Certifications
  • Valid motor vehicle driver's license.
  • Universal EPA refrigeration certificate.
