Essentia Health is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the Med/Surg and Emergency Department at Fosston Hospital. This is a part-time opportunity that requires exceptional patient care skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to excellence.
About the RoleThis Nurse Practitioner position will be responsible for providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in med/surg and emergency department settings, with excellent assessment and treatment skills. A strong focus on patient-centered care, teamwork, and collaboration is essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care services, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and goals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
To be considered for this Nurse Practitioner position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- National certification as a Nurse Practitioner (e.g., ANP-BC, NP-C)
- Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in Minnesota or Wisconsin
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- At least 2 years of experience in med/surg and emergency department settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
